School Counseling

The Tahoe Truckee Unified School District has dedicated resources from Measure A funding to provide a school counselor at each elementary school in the district. At Kings Beach Elementary, the school counselor is Jessica Darkenwald.  Jessica oversees Kings Beach Elementary's comprehensive counseling program which includes Watch Dog Dads, mindfulness, positive postcards, Second Step, Special Friends, Kindness King. Additionally, Jessica provides individual and group school based counseling. Please contact Jessica with concerns regarding your child's academic or social/emotional growth
