Current Position: Elementary Resource Specialist
Teaching History: First year teaching. 3 semesters student teaching with High School Resource students and students with extensive support needs.
Teaching Philosophy: "I believe that every child is an individual in their own way and I value their unique stories and paths that have led them to where they are. I trust that every student possesses the power of knowledge and capability, it's just about tapping into their resources and fostering a learning environment where they can feel safe to think freely. I believe that special education can help each student develop further skills academically, socially and emotionally in their educational journey. One of my goals as a teacher is to help my students find their individualistic voices and equip them with the tools to think critically both in class and in the real world and to teach them about being responsible and accountable beings."
Outside interests: Climbing, traveling, reading and protesting for human rights.
